Wednesday 22nd February at 10.30-12.30 Tales by the Fireside at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet Meet a shepherd who stumbles across some enchanted gold, an old lady who faces a terrifying monster in the Himalayan mountains and find out what happened when the Chinese emperor invited all the animals, including dragon and cockerel, to his party.
Tuesday 11th April at 10.30-11.15 at Crystal Peaks Library Stories for little ones Age 2+ Some favourite children’s folk tales from around the world such as Monkey see, Monkey do, The Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Gingerbread Man.
Thursday 20th April at 2pm Parson’s Cross Library at 2pm Noodle heads and Numbskulls Ages 5-11 Some of the silliest characters you could ever imagine meeting. For instance, there’s the King who decided to build a tower to the moon, the fisherman who got a sausage stuck to his nose and a girl who didn’t think twice about asking for the tail of a deadly forest creature.

Terrific tales of monsters and mythical creatures all the way from the snowy peaks of the Himalayas and the palaces of Turkey to the lush forests of Thailand. After the session Beth will lead a craft activity in Monster Mask Making.

After the storytelling, Beth will lead a craft activity in animal mask making. Suitable for ages 4-10
